10am: Library children’s session: Tell the story, be the music! Featuring Jeremy Berkman, facilitator and trombonist, Isidora Nodjkovic, cello, Kent Dykstra, violin. This session invites its audience to also become composers, as facilitator Jeremy Berkman and guest musicians develop the audience’s ideas into music that bring new life to the journey of story. This session will revolve around children’s books, making it highly accessible for children, but the creative component would be interesting for the creative—or curious—of any age. 11am: Story, Song + Sash Dance: Metis Culture workshop Featuring: Alessandra Delaporte With 22 pairs of wooden spoons, 3 drums, and a passion for sharing the art and music of her heritage, dancer Alessandra Delaporte invites you to a workshop that shares Metis music, rhythm and dance, put in context with story and artifacts.
12:15-1:15pm: Composers’ Discussion Panel: To compose or not to compose, is there a question? Featuring Jose Delgado, Kent Dykstra, and Clinton Pelletier, composers, and Jeremy Berkman, host Description: A discussion with composers at Festival North 2026. Questions include what a composer does and how the collaboration of a composer and performer (whether present or not) influences a performance and the listener. Facilitated by Jeremy Berkman of the Turning Point Ensemble.
1:30-2:30pm: Cello in the Gallery Featuring: Isidora Nodjkovic, cello with Jordan Daviel, cello A program of solo and chamber works featuring the cello in the spectacular setting of the Two Rivers Arts Gallery. Take in the Gallery’s Hear Barriere, Telemann, and more while appreciating the artwork on display. Location: Two Rivers Gallery, Prince George BC, 2nd floor
3-5pm: Harp Masterclass Masterclass Host: Sunita Staneslow, harp. This masterclass gives the opportunity for harp players to play for and receive tips, help, instruction and inspiration from renowned international harp player Sunita Staneslow. Location: Prince George Conservatory of Music

Hello Guitar players: this is an amazing opportunity to learn from a musician who has a huge career in many genres and styles. Clint Pelletier, guitar extraordinaire returns to Prince George to offer a 2-hour hands-on guitar class. Topics covered will include finding chords without lead sheets expressive chording, and issues raised by the class itself.
