Join us for an afternoon of piano music with Chiao-Rou Liu, a pianist and educator whose work bridges performance, pedagogy, and musician wellness. Originally from Taiwan, Chiao-Rou is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at the University of Arizona, with a minor in Musician Wellness and Injury Prevention. She holds a Master of Music from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music, summa cum laude, from the University of Ottawa. The performance will feature works by Scarlatti, Brahms, Debussy, and Glass, offering a journey across contrasting styles and eras of the piano repertoire. Admission is by donation to support the Conservatory's Scholarship and Bursary funds.
