Music for Young Children

MYC’s curriculum was created to build and sustain a wide and firm foundation in music education, appreciation and performance for young children.  Our students not only learn how to play the piano and read music, but are also taught the other important elements (i.e.  Sight-reading, composition and ensemble playing) that help create a solid, educated and well-balanced musician. The Conservatory is pleased to offer MYC with instructors Shoshanna Godber and Erica Skowron.

“We can't say enough good things about Music for Young Children. Shoshanna is an absolute gem and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to learn with her. Both my kids have gained valuable life long lessons about music, rhythm, note reading and of course piano! It's more than just piano lessons; the kids are truly learning to appreciate learning music and will have this as a building block for the rest of their lives.”
