Legacy Giving
LEAVING A GIFT IN YOUR WILL
A gift in your will or bequest is the simplest way to leave a legacy to the PG Conservatory of Music. To make a gift in your will your lawyer or notary simply prepares a new will or adds a codicil to an existing will. A gift in your will to the PG Conservatory of Music can be made for a specific amount, for a percentage of your estate, or for all or a portion of what is left after you have made gifts to your family.
BENEFITS OF LEAVING A GIFT IN YOUR WILL
- A gift in your will costs nothing now yet gives you the satisfaction of knowing you have provided for the PG Conservatory of Music in the future.
- A gift in your will will not take away from what you plan to leave for your loved ones.
- Your estate receives a donation receipt for the value of your estate gift, which can substantially reduce or even eliminate taxes on your estate.
- You can choose to make changes to your will at any time.
- You retain control of and use of your assets during your lifetime.
When you leave a gift in your will, please be sure to inform us of your intentions so that we can be sure to thank-you and add you to our email list where you will receive invitations to our events.
