Active in the local choral community, Kathy is the founding director of the treble choir Cantora Alegre, a choral leader in church music ministry, and a member of Nove Voce. She previously directed the White Spruce City Chorus. Currently, Kathy is the voice and choral discipline director for the Prince George and District Music Festival, and she recently served as the music director for the 2026 Performing Arts of BC festival held in Prince George.

Kathy is preparing for her RCM Grade 10 voice exam, holds an RCM Grade 8 in clarinet, and has written several choral compositions specifically for treble choir.
