Beginner Guitar

This class will introduce beginning guitar players to the basics of guitar, focusing on building a foundation in strumming simple songs in various styles. This includes principles of basic musicianship including rhythm, chords, song forms and genre styles.

Instructor: Paul Harris

Time: TBA

Cost: $107 plus $10 annual registration fee for new students

Intermediate Guitar

This class introduces intermediate guitar players (able to play some chords and strum a bit) to more advanced aspects of guitar, including more complex rhythmic strumming, fingerstyles, barre chords and altered chords. In addition, we will explore the basics of music theory, chord progressions, improvisatory scales and standard song forms.

Instructor: Paul Harris

Time: Mondays 5:45-6:45pm
8 Weeks starting April 7th

Cost: $122.50 plus $10 registration fee for new students

Intermediate Guitar Jam

This class is in response to demand for sessions for people of similar abilities, focusing on playing and going light on instruction.

We play through a variety of songs and styles that are provided to you ahead of time so that you can familiarize yourself with them. The goal is to get better at strumming, changing chords, playing with others, and singing really badly--unless you happen to sing well. Low pressure, lower stakes. Do what you can.

Instructor: Paul Harris

Time: TBA

Cost: $122.50 plus $10  annual registration fee
