Faculty Concert Series
We had our best attended Faculty Chamber Concert series this past year, and we’re looking forward to providing quality live music to our community again this year.
To make our concerts as accessible as possible admission is “pay-what-you-can”. Here’s what one person wrote on Instagram after one of our concerts:
“Please do more of this kind of concert. After a busy weekday, it’s amazing to have rest under this awesome music.”
Sponsors’ names are included in all our print and online promotion for the concert. Sponsors are verbally acknowledged at the concert and included in the concert program.
Community Outreach Concerts
Our faculty and advanced students regularly perform in our local care homes and other community spaces.
The senior residents were very appreciative of the concerts:

“When the musicians play, you could hear a pin drop, the residents are so engaged. After the performance the residents have been heard saying, “Oh my that was lovely!” or “What a special treat!” Music for those suffering from Dementias and loneliness have such a positive impact on the residents emotional state.
