6pm: True North Fiddlers Showcase Featuring: Fiddling Fancy (or True North Fiddlers) To whet our appetites for the next event, the hottest new group in town is here to get your toes tapping! Fiddling Fancy s is a cooperative of people who love the joy of playing together, and creative elements in fiddling as much as traditional tunes! Expect to hear a set of Celtic, Old-time, and fiddle tunes from around the world that have all become part of our traditions right here in the north.
6:30pm: Family Folk Dance Featuring: Marian Rose and Doug Bordon, dance callers, Festival audiences and musicians alike are invited to grab their families and come for a traditional family folk dance. Smithers Dance caller Marian Rose and PG dance caller Doug Borden will take turns to lead energetic dances from around the world that have become traditional right here in northern BC. Grab your partner- or not, as most dances are done in groups. No prior experience needed!
8pm: All Things Guitar Featuring: Clint Pelletier, guitar Clint brings decades of performing and touring experience together with, incredible energy, and irresistible joy to create in performance. In this concert, you may hear Clint playing bluegrass, country, rockabilly, surf, old Tyme, jazz, flamenco or classical: musical styles are like the weather: bound to change!
